Jamshedpur: ITDA Project Director Dipankar Chaudhuri conducted an inspection of the new hospital in Dimna on Saturday, addressing preparations for the relocation of MGM Hospital. Accompanying him were college Principal Dr Diwakar Hansda, Superintendent Dr Shikha Rani and Deputy Superintendent Dr Jujhar Manjhi.
During the visit, Chaudhuri reviewed the hospital’s overall progress and gathered reports from key departments. Heads of Departments highlighted critical issues, including a shortage of water and essential resources. Principal Dr Hansda also updated Chaudhuri on the status of tenders for various pieces of equipment required for the hospital’s operation.
Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, Chaudhuri instructed the hospital administration to expedite the procurement process. “Place the order for purchasing the equipment as soon as possible and start the hospital without further delay,” he stated.
The inspection underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring the hospital becomes operational promptly, addressing both infrastructure and resource challenges. This step is expected to enhance healthcare accessibility in the region significantly.
