Ranchi : Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das said that the govt. is committed to take development to the last person of the society.
He said that developmental schemes can be realized on ground with the use of IT. Holding IT as a major platform to coordinate with the government, the CM said that basic social amenities will be simplified through the use of mobile governance. He said that many institutions related to IT will be established in the forthcoming years. The CM said it while inaugurating the first App Hackathon Program in Hotel Chanakya BNR.
The CM said that the north-east states are considered to be backward but their condition will improve with the use of IT. He said that P.M. Narendra Modi also wants to promote IT in the nation.
Boosting up the morale of the 150 programmers (competitors), the CM said that IT related students can improve their caliber through Hackathon.
Underlining the open standard software, the IT Secretary Sunil Kr. Burnwal said that health, security, govt. benefit, payment & exchange can be made simpler with this app. He said that Hackathon App has been prepared with a view to promote e-governance & IT.
Principal Secretary Amit Khare, ADGP (operation) S.N. Pradhan, Nasscom Warehouse Chief Ravi Ranjan & other IT related officers were present.
