IT raids on 6 premises of Chhaganlal Dayaljee, important documents seized

Jamshedpur, March 2: In a major action, investigation wing of the�income tax�( I-T) department conducted searches on more than half a dozen premises of a leading city jeweller, Chhaganlal Dayaljee on Monday, March 2.

Twelve members IT team together conducted raids at different properties of the Chhaganlal group across the city and found important documents which have been seized by the team.

The team landed at their residence in CH Area and Contractors Area on early Monday morning and continued the inquest till late night.

IT department along with Chhaganlal Dayaljee Jewellers also conducted raids at their industries in Seraikela, Chaibasa and Golpahari.

The team also raided Chhaganlal Dayaljee Harware, Chhaganlal Dayaljee Sons jeweler and New India Automobile shop situated in Bistupur.

The IT team explored the CCTV footage and examined the accounts documents and several other related papers and later seized it.

At the event security was tightened up and police officials were pressed into service outside their shops at Bistupur.
