Jamshedpur, July 3: “With deteriorating environmental conditions, fast life, irregular and unhealthy food habits, cardiac related ailments have been growing disconcertingly,” observed Dr Priti Singhania, a gold medalist with MBBS, MD (Medicine) and DM (Cardio) FSCAI. She said that heart problems in varied forms were growing across the world and India was no exception. She observed, “However, quality medical services for heart and heart related ailments are constantly on the ascent and we, at Hridyam, have ensured state of the art treatment and care for all cardiac issues.”

Dr Abhay Krishna, the other cardiologist at Hridyam was also at hand who endorsed Dr Singhania’s views. Himself an MBBS, MD (medicine), DM (cardio), FESC and FSCAI, Dr Krishna added, “Sometimes, in spite of best and sincere efforts, there are instances when proper cure may not be possible due to several issues. The cost factor is one such obstacle. The other important aspect is that people misunderstand or, for that matter do not understand the signals leading to cardio problems.”

Dr Abhay Krishna said that in a bid to reach out to people as an additional address to similar heart care centres already existing in the city, Hridyam was launched in Jamshedpur at Birenu Asha Palace on Sakchi Sanjay Road. With facilities like OPD, ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter and Ambulatory BP among others available at Hridyam, the heart care centres in the city have expanded their wings to provided prompt, efficient and reassuring care to patients with cardiac problems.
