BJP workers accord grand welcome to CM on his arrival after foreign tour

Jamshedpur: Terming his visit to Czech Republic and Japan a success, Chief minister Raghubar Das expressed confidence that investors from both the countries would come to the state for investment and help the government usher in prosperity and development in the state.

The CM in a brief interaction with media on Thursday morning said his visit will usher a new era of growth. He also greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali and wished that lights of prosperity and development will be lit in each of the house of Jharkhand.

The BJP workers accorded the CM a grand welcome as he came to the city for the first time since his foreign tour. Das along with a high-level delegation of bureaucrats led by Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma had visited Czech Republic and Japan between October 8 and 14. During the tour the delegation had taken part in road shows at Tokyo and Osaka in Japan and invited investors in the field of smart city and metro rail projects with attractive packages. Czech Republic company Home Credit also inked an MoU of Rs 750-crore with job opportunities for more than 1500.

�I extend my warm wishes to the people. My prayer to God is that light of happiness, prosperity glows in each of the house in the state,� said Das, iterating that the government would work efficiently to bring about speedy development, providing basic amenities and improving policing.

The CM said that in the next five years the government will be working hard to help the state achieve good results in education, roads, drinking water and other basic infrastructure.

Later, the CM accompanied by East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Amit Kumar visited the Kadma residence of BJP leader Abhijit Chakraborty who passed away last month and assured all support to the bereaved family. Thereafter, the CM visited the Mango residence of another party leader Supriyo Laik and asked the DC to help the family�s eldest daughter get a job.

The CM would be staying in the city till October 22 and is expected to attend the Kali Puja bhog distribution function held every year at the Ghorabandha residence of former CM and senior BJP leader Arjun Munda on October 21 apart from celebrating Bhai Dooj with his three sisters. He will also inspect preparation for Chhath Puja at Surya Mandir in Sidhgora.
