INTUC quota for MP, MLA seats demanded in Jharkhand: Rakeshwar Pandey

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) meeting was held in Golmuri Tinplate Workers Union premises on Sunday. The meet was presided over by committee chairman Rakeshwar Pandey. The meeting deliberated on increasing facilities of temporary and permanent employees in Jharkhand. Rakeshwar Pandey said that INTUC quota should be fixed for the seats of MP and MLA in Jharkhand and trade unions which are unrecognized must fill in application at Ranchi soon.  

JAC meet also focused on increasing funds and making INTUC base stronger in Jharkhand.

Pandey informed that a strong committee of INTUC will be formed in every district and block level.

It was also decided to hold INTUC Central and State level conference in Jharkhand at the earliest. It said that the affiliation fee of Jharkhand and Central INTUC will have to be deposited soon.

Also present at the meeting were Binod Rai, Mahendra Mishra, Parvinder Singh Sohal, Manoj Kumar Singh, Naresh Chaudhary, Shiv Lakhan Singh, MH Hirmanik, Rajesh Singh Raju, Usha Singh, Shikha Chaudhary, Aman Singh, Sanjay Singh, Dadan Singh, Gayatri Das, Dinesh Upadhyay, Rash Behari Rai, Sachidanand, Gautam Kumar Jana, Kaushal Kumar, Anjani Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh etc. were present.
