International Women’s Day celebrated at R.V.S College

Jamshedpur: R.V.S College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur celebrated International Women’s Day today. The program commenced with an address by the college Principal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, who extended a warm welcome to all the women and teachers present. He noted that while International Women’s Day is officially celebrated on March 8, the event was organized today due to the Maha Shivratri holiday.

Expressing his congratulations on International Women’s Day, Dr. Tiwari praised the significant contributions and dedication of women in the college. Shatrughan Singh, the Treasurer of the college, also extended his congratulations to the female teachers and employees, commending them for their responsibilities towards the country and society. He emphasized the strength embodied by women, drawing inspiration from his mother’s capabilities and working style at home.

During the celebration, Professor Dr. Shalini Kumari, Professor Dr. Rekha Tiwari, and Seema Sinha shared their personal and practical life experiences. The successful organization of the program was acknowledged by Professor Sadan Basar, Professor Anita Giri, Professor Moni Mandal, and Professor Pranshu Sinha. The Principal thanked Professor Akanksha Dhanjal for her role in coordinating the event. The celebration highlighted the achievements and strengths of women, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation within the college community.
