Jamshedpur, March 21: The weather in Jharkhand, including the Kolhan region, witnessed a notable shift on Thursday, with intermittent rain contributing to a noticeable drop in temperatures. After a cloudy morning, the skies alternated between periods of sunshine and shade throughout the afternoon, further accentuating the prevailing chill. In Jamshedpur, the maximum temperature recorded stood at 24.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature dipped to 14.6 degrees Celsius. Over the course of the day, a total of 0.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Jamshedpur from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The Meteorological Department’s Ranchi Centre has forecasted a continuation of cloudy conditions across various parts of Jharkhand on Friday, with a possibility of drizzle. Districts such as Simdega, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Giridih, and Dhanbad are expected to experience cloudy skies, with chances of drizzle. In light of these predictions, a yellow alert has been issued, urging residents to remain cautious.
