Jamshedpur : Intermediate teachers under the banner of Intermediate Shishak Sangh are against appointment at Jamshedpur Co-operative College.

All 24 teachers who are already working have claimed to stop new teachers to join. The college is going to conduct interviews on August 3 and 4.

Rakesh Pandey, a Hindi teacher of intermediate at Jamshedpur Co-operative College said that the existing teachers were recruited and appointed by R.K. Das, the former principal.

All the 24 teachers have been asked to re-apply but none have done so stating they were already employed. The present principal S.S. Razi stated that their appointment was done in an inappropriate manner by the then principal R.K. Das.

“We are going ahead with the fresh recruitment and teachers who are eligible for the job will be appointed.

We decided to conduct fresh recruitment because we found some anomalies like there was no interview conducted for the jobs. This time we will make sure that well qualified candidates are appointment,” said Razi.
