Inter-house basketball tourney at Vidya Jyoti School

Gamharia, July 2: Inter-house basketball competition was organized in Vidya Jyoti School at TISCO Complex Colony. The students comprising boys and girls were divided into four houses namely Vayu, Agni, Prithvi and Akash. In the boys section of the competition, Vayu House defeated Akash House with a score line of  32-6, while in the girls’ group too, Vayu House defeated Akash House by 10-4. Thus, in both categories, Vayu House emerged winners. In the boys category, Prithvi House stood third and Agni House was ranked fourth. while in girl’s category, Prithvi House stood third and Akash House stood fourth. Principal Sunil Kumar Jha congratulated all the participants and gave away the prizes to winners.
