Inter-Departmental Table Tennis Championship at Srinath University Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Srinath University recently hosted its Inter-Departmental Table Tennis Championship, featuring singles and doubles matches for both boys and girls. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, highlighting their competitive spirit and exemplary sportsmanship.

In the boys’ singles, Kumar (B.Tech, ME) secured first place, followed by Md Hamid Raza (BBA) in second and Rohit Murmu (BBA) in third. In boys’ doubles, the team of Aditya Kumar Singh (BCA) and Adarsh K. Choudhary (BCA) emerged  champions, while Shiv Narayan Kumar and Sumit Kumar Singh claimed second place, and Adarsh Mayank with Aniket Das took third.

In the girls’ singles, Priya Bharti (BCA) won the top spot, with Pushpanjali Kumari (BCA) and Priyanka Murmu (BBA) finishing second and third respectively. In girls’ doubles, Priya Bharti and Priyanka Murmu secured first place, followed by Aradhana Kumari with Anjali Gorai in second, and Pushpanjali Kumari with Priya Lugun in third.

Addressing the participants, Dean of Administration J. Rajesh emphasized that sports were an integral part of education at Srinath University, instilling discipline, teamwork, and confidence among students. The university congratulated the winners and lauded all participants for their talent and dedication throughout the championship.
