Insightful lecture on Supply Chain Management at RVSCET Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The third day of the seven-day Faculty Development Program at RVS College of Engineering and Technology featured a lecture on Supply Chain Management by Dr. Shubham Tripathi, Professor in the Department of Production and Industrial Engineering at NIT, Jamshedpur. Dr. Tripathi discussed the intricacies of supply chain management (SCM), which involves overseeing a network of interconnected businesses to ensure the effective delivery of products and services. SCM encompasses all activities from the origin of goods to their consumption, including the storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.

Dr. Tripathi also provided a detailed explanation of business processes and the challenges faced in supply chain management. The program’s chief guest was warmly welcomed by the Dean of Administration, Professor Krishna Murari, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers. Professor Shailendra Kumar Prasad from the Mechanical Engineering Department honoured Dr. Tripathi with a memento. Faculty members from various departments of the college attended the session.
