Inner Wheel Club to send 36,000 poor students to school

Jamshedpur, Dec. 13: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur�s district conference (325) was organized at Super Centre in Sakchi on Saturday.

Chief Guest for the occasion was Mamata Agarwal, Association president of Inner Wheel where representatives of 35 clubs of Bihar-Jharkhand was present. At the event chief guest Mamata appreciated the work of district chairperson Aruna Taneja and said, under the leadership of Taneja the club has done superb work.

Agarwal said those clubs can become star club which support literacy mission of rotary India for which each and every member should work for the mission. She informed that till date nine clubs have been recognized as Star Clubs.

At the event, Taneja expressed gratitude towards the members who have been supporting Club�s Asha Kiran project. Addressing the gathering, Taneja said, �Inner Wheel Club has promised to send 36,000 students to school who are from contract labour background, sex workers and living in orphanage homes.� District chairperson also distributed 50 sewing machines on the occasion, while the chief guest released the souvenir of the club.
