Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest celebrated World Peace Day with the students of Oriya Madhya Vidhyalaya, Adityapur. The aim of organising a seminar was to strengthen the ideals of peace and promote unity between the students. IWC Zest members, students and staff of Oriya Madhya Vidhyalaya celebrated the event with speeches, workshop sessions, musical performances and sharing ideas of what peace actually means.
Ritika Singh spoke said for mental and physical peace one should bring discipline in his or her life, should respect each other and one should be a good listener. She said peace and health are closely interlinked, one cannot exist without the other. Good health is the basic condition that enables people to contribute and participate in a society and their everyday activities.
In order to promote peace and explore its deeper components, we must understand and address the underlying reasons of its disruptions such as violence, conflicts and aggression. Clubs former president Navneet Kaur, president Nisha Gadia, Chandani Mehta and Parul Adesara were present on the occasion.
