Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East Organizes Cervical Cancer Vaccination Drive

Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East conducted the second dose of the HPV vaccination drive for underprivileged girls at the Well Baby Clinic, Telco, on March 6. The initiative aimed to ensure a cervical cancer-free future for nine girl students from Khalsa School, aged between 9 and 14 years.

The girls had received their first dose of the HPV vaccine six months ago, and as committed, the club arranged for their second dose under the supervision of doctors from Tata Motors Hospital. After the vaccination, the girls were provided with paracetamol and juice for their well-being.

Club members expressed gratitude to Dr. Neelam Sinha for coordinating the drive and thanked all contributors for supporting the noble cause. Five members, including PP Sonali, Secretary Sanchita, ISO Rama Khanna, Editors Dr. Meena Mukherjee and T.V. Laxmi, were present at the event.

This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to promoting health and well-being among underprivileged children.
