Jamshedpur, July 29: Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, JRD Tata had once observed. With this wise thought of the great visionary, members of Inner Wheel Club Jamshedpur started Adult education class at Birsa Basti today on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
As many as 20 women are expected to become literate at the end of this programme. The Past District Chairman and DLCC Aruna Taneja inaugurated the session.
The members present today included President Alokananda Bakshi, Vice president Mamta Trehan, Treasurer Shweta Chand, ISO Vinita Shah, Editor Manju Rani Singh, Convenor Sudha Saberwal and other members Rekha Jaiswal, Indu Bhambri, Renu Jaiswal and Madhulika Saberwal. A small kit and biscuit packets was given to the participants for the literacy programme.
