Jamshedpur, March 11: ‘Healthy young girls can only be healthy mothers’. On Sunday the members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur visited Shishu Niketan Orphanage, run by AIWC Kalyan Niketan where PP Vijay laxmi Das, talked about periods and how to maintain menstrual hygiene and a healthy lifestyle.
She discussed about the myths and superstitions related to the menstrual cycle. Total 500 Sanitary Napkins were provided.
This is the part of ‘Subala’ directive that the club has received from the District.
President of the club Alokananda Bakshi, PP Vijaylaxmi Das, VP Mamta Trehan, Editor Manju Rani Singh, Committee members Sarika Singh and Neena Jain, Dipy Garewal, Indu Gandhi, Renuji, Deepa Wig and Deepa Gandhi were present on the occasion.
