Jamshedpur, July 17: The wheel of Inner Wheel is rolling forward. Continuing their social initiative, members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur, visited Karimia Urdu Middle School, Kadma and distributed study materials on Monday.
They also planted a dozen Ashoka saplings in the school premises. It is the first ‘Happy School’ adopted under the T-e-a-c-h project for the year 2017-18.
Members of the club also visited the second Happy School, Bal Vikas School, Kadma and distributed study materials.
The club President Alokananda Bakshi discussed about the different problems of the school with the Principals of both the schools and promised to provide all possible help.
Members present on the occasion were President Alokananda Bakshi, PP Pasam Adeshra, Vice president Mamta Trehan, Treasurer Shweta Chand, Editor Manju Rani Singh and Convener Nilakshi Jaiswal.
At the event club President Alokananda Bakshi, said, this is our first step towards association and district goals, which emphasizes on education.
‘We will fulfill criteria given by RILM (Rotary India Literacy Mission) for adopting a school within a year’s time and make it a ‘Happy School’, added Mrs. Bakshi
The club members thanked Rajesh Kumar, Cluster education resource person and the principals of the school, Aftab and Anupama.
