Jamshedpur, Sept 18 : A team of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) launched its programme on Indian Swachhata League, a project under the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav from Domuhani Ghat under Sonari police station. The banks at the Rivers’ confluence along Marine Drive in Sonari were cleaned. Several voluntary organization members joined the JNAC team to clean the river banks.
While promoting the national programme under Indian Swachhta League and Swachh Amrit Mahotsav, JNAC has set up Selfie Points at Jubilee Park and Kharkai –Subarnarekha Link Road. An awareness campaign was also conducted at Sakchi roundabout and Jhanda Chowk. Experts in the field explained the manner in which household wastes had to be segregated and converted into compost at home.
