Indian Constitution fulfils the need for integrity and diversity: CM

Ranchi, Nov. 26: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that the Indian Constitution fulfils the need for integrity and diversity both.

�The Constitution has lived up to the expectations of the people. It has been strengthened with our rights and duties.

For its further development, the procedures will be reformed with a view to sort out the imbalances,� observed the CM while addressing a programme at Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration on the occasion of Constitution Day.

Referring to Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Das said that despite getting political freedom, we have not attained social and economic freedom. We have to fulfill the dreams of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and remove social inequalities. He also led people to recite the Preamble of the Constitution.

CS Raj Bala Verma, Additional Chief Secretary, Home N.N. Pandey, Development Commissioner Amit Khare, SKIPA Director P.K. Jajoria, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar and other officers were present on this occasion.
