Indian archers will create history in Tokyo Olympics: AAI President Arjun Munda


Seraikela:  Indian archers left for Tokyo to participate in the Olympics. Archery Association of India ( AAI) President and Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda bid farewell to the archers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi late on Saturday night for their best performance in the Tokyo Olympics.Arjun Munda said that Indian archers will do better in Tokyo Olympics. He said that 130 crore people of the country are with the players, PM Modi himself has encouraged them. All the players are full of enthusiasm. The Indian Archery team consists of Tarundeep Roy, Atanu Das, Praveen Jadhav (Team Event) and Deepika Kumari (Singles). All the archers have reached Tokyo. Archer Deepika Kumari started archery at Damadiri ground in Kharsawan of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
On the other hand, Seraikela-Kharsawan District Archery Association President Meera Munda, Secretary Sumant Mohanty, Vice President Mangal Singh Soy, Uday Singhdev, Uttam Mishra, Deepika’s initial coach BS Rao, Himanshu Mohanty extended wishes.
