Jamshedpur: Inderjit Singh, the founder and president of the social organization Aaghaz, was honored for donating platelets 23 times. The recognition ceremony was held at the Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee’s office in Sakchi. CGPC President Sardar Bhagwan Singh and Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh jointly honored Inderjit Singh by presenting him with a ceremonial shawl.
Inderjit Singh has donated platelets 23 times so far and continues to donate whenever contacted by blood banks to help patients in need.
During the event, Sardar Bhagwan Singh and Sardar Shailendra Singh praised Inderjit Singh’s commitment to human service, emphasizing that he is following the teachings of the Gurus. They highlighted that while many people hesitate to donate blood even once, Inderjit Singh has set an example of humanity by donating platelets 23 times.
The event was attended by several prominent members of the Central Gurudwara Management Committee, including President Sardar Bhagwan Singh, Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh, General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Billa, Senior Vice President Chanchal Singh, Advisor Parvinder Singh Sohal, Surender Singh Shinde, Treasurer Gurnam Singh, Sukhdev Singh Bittu, and General Secretary of Central Sikh Naujawan Sabha Sukhwant Singh.
