Independence Day celebrated at Al Kabir Polytechnic

Jamshedpur, Aug 16: Independence Day was celebrated with zeal at Al Kabir Polytechnic, Kapali, on Monday. The programme was inaugurated by Dr Mohammad Salim, chairman, Kabir Welfare Trust, and Principal Waris Sarwar Imam.

Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the students planted saplings at the college and hostel campus. Dr Altaf Ahmad and Chandana Sharma launched a quarterly e-magazine of technical and non-technical departments. The programme was conducted by P Veena Sheela Rao. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mehnaz Afreen. Sweets were distributed among the students and employees.
