Jamshedpur, Oct. 14: Immunization results have not been upto the mark in the East Singhbhum district. Seeing this, DC Amit Kumar directed the health department to launch a campaign and immunize the left out children.
The campaign will run from 18 to 28 October, said DC Amit Kumar during a meeting with health department officials at the collectorate on Thursday.
At the meeting Civil Surgeon SK Jha along with other department officers were also present. The meeting also focused o increasing Institutional delivery.
It was also decided to prepare a micro plan keeping in mind the date of institutional delivery so that maximum deliveries can happen at health centres and hospitals.
The meeting also reviewed the mother-child plan, family planning and other schemes.
