I’m here to serve you, not to rule you: Narendra Modi in Bihar

Patna: After addressing a rally in Jharkhand, Modi reached Bihar where he attended a rally at Nawada. Speaking to the crowd, the Gujarat CM said, “I want to serve this region myself. Will you give me a chance? If there is the strongest wave anywhere in India it is in Bihar.”

Praising the people of the state, Modi said, “On 27th October I saw the mood of Bihar. Wherever I go, I make it a point to talk about the resolve of the people. There were bombs, state government was asleep but people of Bihar did not hesitate.”

Criticising the central government in Delhi, the BJP PM nominee said, “We heard of green revolution, while revolution. But today in Delhi what matters is pink revolution.” Slamming RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Modi asked, “I want to ask Mulayam ji and Lalu ji — you support those who encourage the pink revolution, a Gulabi Kranti?”

Calling Congress’s latest manifesto a “dhokapatra (a sham)”, Modi said, “What to say about those who make the same promises in 2014 which they made in 2009? Is it not a Dhokha Patra.” Urging people not to vote for Congress, Modi asserted, “Need of the hour is to make India Congress-free.”

Igniting controversy over bringing back black money stashed at foreign banks, Modi reiterated, “Who are the people who say no to bring back black money? It is the Congress because they are protecting that loot money.
