Illicit liquor seized, one held

Chaibasa, July 8: Acting on tip off, a police team led by excise department inspector Dilip Singh raided the house of Sanjay Sandil resident of Nagar Kanta and the house of another, Sanjay Sandil, a resident of Chamra Sai, and seized 50 liters of illicit Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) under Manajhari police station area on Friday.

Sanjay Sandil, a resident of Nagar Kanta village, was arrested on the scene, while another Sandil managed to flee the scene. The excise department registered a case against the accused and investigating the case behind the illegal wine business.
