Jamshedpur, May 19: A team of excise officials busted an illegal mini liquor factory in Babudih under Sidhgora police station area on Thursday and confiscated spurious liquor worth Rs 60,000.
The excise team also raided Puja Dhaba, a roadside eatery, in Kesharda, Baharagora and seized foreign liquor. The officials arrested two persons, identified as Prem Kishore Kuila, engaged in the illegal business.
The officials said the culprits at the mini liquor factory in Babudih used to fill cheap liquor in bottles with brand stickers on them and sell it to customers at various places across the city. Raw materials used in the factory were also seized during the raid.
