IHRA demands treatment of workers

Jamshedpur: International Human Rights Association(IHRA) leader Ashutosh Singh has complained to the sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum Prem Ranjan regarding the alleged stopping of treatment of ESI card holder workers of Kolhan at Bramhananda Narayana Hrudayalaya.

He alleged that the hospital authorities had stopped treating the people holding ESI card and who worked under various employers due to non-payment of the treatment cost arrears worth Rs 6.5 crore.

He said the workers should be treated at all cost since the government had tied up with the hospital for the treatment of the workers holding the ESI card.
