IHRA demands fool-proof security for MGM Hospital rape victim

Jamshedpur, Feb. 1: A delegation of International Human Rights Association (IHRA) headed by its national general secretary Usha Singh and district president Ashutosh Kumar met senior doctors of the MGM Hospital on Monday demanding fool-proof security to rape victim and proper investigation into the incident at the hospital on Sunday evening.

�Rape of a 13-year-old is a very sad incident and that too by the person who is deputed for the security of the patients.

The district administration should bear all the expenses related to the treatment of the girl,� Usha Singh said. The delegation also met the victim girl.

Other members of the delegation included Chandana Chatterjee, Prabha Tiwary and Flora Gill.
