Jamshedpur, Feb. 1: Various women�s organizations in the steel city are outraged over the reported rape of a minor girl by a security guard in MGM Hospital on Sunday evening.
On Monday morning, BJP leader Priti Singh along with other party leaders, members of NGOs and other activists visited the MGM Hospital and held a meeting regarding the safety of women in the hospital.
They also submitted a memorandum to superintendent of MGM Hospital, Dr. R Y Choudhary. The women activists also met deputy superintendent of the hospital Dr. S K Singh and Dr. Diwakar Hansda and held several rounds of discussions on the issue.
They also met the alleged rape victim, who is currently undergoing treatment at the Tata Main Hospital, and inquired about her health.
