Jamshedpur, Mar 8: Marking the global celebration of Women’s Day on March 8th, Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) in Jamshedpur organized a special program dedicated to recognizing and empowering women. The event featured Anand Dayal, the Managing Director of the institute, as the chief guest.
In his address, Anand Dayal acknowledged the significant increase in women’s participation worldwide but emphasized the need for women to proactively contribute to societal progress. The theme for this year’s Women’s Day at the institute was “One step towards women empowerment,” with a focus on encouraging women’s advancement and development. Dayal highlighted the importance of respecting women and stressed that, despite existing legal frameworks; women must demonstrate their inner potential.
The program’s second phase showcased a painting and speech competition centered around the theme ‘One step towards women empowerment.’ In the drawing competition, Juhi Kumari secured the first position, followed by Cynthia Victor in second place, and Veena Pani Hambrom and Asha Beck jointly securing the third position.
Among the attendees were notable figures like Manager Training Ratan Das Gupta, SK Bhowmik, Ram Babu Verma, Sumeet Singh, Manish Thakur, Chhavi Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Bahmani Tudu, Ameet Kumar, Sujata Mandal, Dolly Hansda, Anjani Kumari, and Veena Pani Hembrom. The presence of dedicated female students added to the vibrant atmosphere of the celebration. The event aimed to not only commemorate Women’s Day but also inspire and recognize the potential of women in various fields.
