Jamshedpur, September 12: The two-day IDE Boot Camp at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, which commenced on September 11, concluded on Thursday with a series of insightful sessions. The day’s first session featured an industrial visit to the Auto-Cluster in Adityapur, where teachers and students from PM Shri School were introduced to training programs covering design, software, hardware, die-designing, and product samples.
In the second session, Dr. Ruchi Gautam Pant from the Wadhwani Foundation spoke on the process of securing financial assistance from the central government for innovation, design, and entrepreneurship-based small industries. She detailed the processes involved and the criteria for financial awareness, encouraging students to create self-sustaining environments.
Suraj Kumar, CEO of TAXMIN, led the third session, highlighting the importance of innovation. He explained how everyday items evolved through innovative processes.
Jharkhand Technical University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dharmendra Kumar Singh, addressed the participants virtually, emphasizing the significance of innovation and entrepreneurship. He underlined the role of innovation in making inventions more useful over time and contributing to societal welfare.
Shivendra Mani Tripathi, Regional Coordinator of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, expressed his satisfaction with the successful event and reiterated the ministry’s commitment to fostering innovation and industrial growth.
The Boot Camp concluded with a valedictory session where RVS Educational Trust Chairman Binda Singh, Treasurer Shatrughan Singh, and Governing Body Member Shakti Singh distributed certificates to participants. Dr. Vikram Sharma, Training and Placement Head, extended a vote of thanks to the guests and participants for their contributions.
