Jamshedpur, April 29: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations is expected to announce the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examination results soon, bringing anticipation among lakhs of students across the country. Candidates who appeared for the board exams conducted in February and March will be able to check and download their mark sheets online once the results are declared. The results will be made available on the official websites, including cisce.org and results.cisce.org, along with digital platforms like DigiLocker and UMANG.
Expected Release Date Based on Previous Trends
According to available information, the ICSE and ISC results are likely to be declared on April 30, 2026. This expectation is based on last year’s pattern, when the exams were also held during February and March and the results were released on April 30. This year, ICSE examinations began on February 17 and concluded on March 30, while ISC exams started on February 12 with the Psychology paper and ended on April 6. Although the board has not yet officially confirmed the date and time, the timeline strongly suggests a similar announcement schedule.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has shared a reassuring video message on X, encouraging students awaiting their ICSE and ISC results not to panic. The council reminded students that marks do not define their future and emphasized that their efforts, growth, and courage are their real achievements.
In the message, CISCE highlighted that students have already come a long way and should remain hopeful. It added that there will always be opportunities to learn, grow, and move forward with confidence.
“Your path is shaped by your determination, not just your marks,” the message stated, urging students to stay calm, believe in themselves, and stay positive.
How Students Can Check Their Results Online
Once declared, students can easily access their results through the official portal by entering their required credentials. To check their scores, candidates need to visit the results website, select their respective course—ICSE or ISC—and enter details such as Course Code, Unique ID, Index Number, and Captcha Code. After submitting the information, the provisional mark sheet will appear on the screen. Students are advised to verify all details carefully and download or print a copy for future reference.
The process for both ICSE and ISC results remains the same, ensuring ease of access for students. Additionally, results will also be accessible via DigiLocker and the UMANG app, offering multiple options for candidates to retrieve their scorecards.
Girls Likely to Outperform Boys Again
Past trends indicate that girls have consistently outperformed boys in CISCE board examinations, and this year is expected to be no different. In the previous year’s ISC results, girls recorded a pass percentage of 99.45%, compared to 98.64% for boys. Similarly, in ICSE results, girls achieved 99.37%, while boys stood at 98.84%. With such a strong track record, experts believe girls are likely to maintain their lead in the 2026 results as well.
As students eagerly wait for the final announcement, educators have advised them to stay calm and positive, emphasizing that results are just one step in their academic journey.
