Toppers success mantra: Stay focussed, take it easy
Jamshedpur, May 14: Students of the city who came out with flying colours in ICSE and ISC share one thing in common � Stay focussed, take it easy as it comes.
An aspiring economist, Abhishek Agarwal has scored 99.25 per cent in ISC ( Commerce). When asked about his whopping success, the boy promptly answered � consistent studies for eight hours daily.
�I used to study for eight hours daily. I even used to take break and log on to social media,� said Abhishek, whose phone kept ringing while he shared his success formula.
When questioned about use of social media, he said that he was never addicted to social media but used to break his monotonous routine. � From time to time I used to log onto social media. I think if used wisely social media can be used mine of information. I have wisely used it and has not let it affect my studies�.
Consistent hard work and a focused approach kept Swarup Padhi free of tension during the examination. These two factors helped him emerge a topper in ICSE. A student of Kerala Samajam Model School, he scored 99 per cent.
�I worked for 4-5 hours round the year and revised my course regularly. I was expecting good marks but this is definitely beyond my expectations. My aim to is make India self-sufficient in the field of software technology,� he said.
�I think hard work is the only mantra of success. Throughout my schooling I have worked hard with sincerity, this is the only reason of my success. It is not only about scoring high marks but I am happy that I have made my parents proud,,� said Priya Kumari, who topped ICSE with 99 per cent.
She said that there is no room for doubts if you have to score well, especially if your subjects is arts. So, never hesitate to question when in doubt,� she says, an aspiring officer.
