Priya of Hill Top and Swarup of Padhi jointly score 99 per cent to bag third spot in ICSE
Jamshedpur : City student Abhishek Agarwal was declared second national topper in the class 12th ISC examination conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi.
Abhishek, a student of Loyola School topped the city as well as the country by scoring a whopping 99.25 per cent marks in the class 12 th ISC examination commerce.
Similarly in class 10 ICSE, Priya Kumari of Hill Tip School and Swarup Padhi of Kerala Samajam Model School were crowned jointly third National toppers with 99 per cent marks.
In ISC Science, Radhika Patwari of Narbheram Hansraj English School was crowned city topper with 98.75 per cent.
The mantra for success of Abhishek Agarwal, son of businessman Deepak Agarwal, is to fall in love with one’s work. He has translated this saying into reality. He fell in love with his studies since as a child and today he secured 99. 25 per cent marks in the ISC (commerce) examination.
�To be honest I was expecting about 96- 97 per cent but never in my wildest dream did I thought that I will be one of the national toppers. I am happy with my performance. Regardless of which ever field I take up as a career my motto would be to ensure development of India with the small contributing of mine. I am looking forward to make a career in the field of economics and looking forward to do my graduation from Sri Ram College of Commerce,” stated Abhishek, who owes his success to his parents.
The Council of the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared its result at 3 pm. While schools downloaded their results smoothly, many students could not access the website.
While Jamshedpur has 32 CISCE schools, Ranchi has 24 CISCE schools followed by Dhanbad which has 12 CISCE schools. Bokaro and Hazaribagh has two and one schools respectively. The rest 29 schools are scattered across other districts of Jharkhand.
Nonetheless, the toppers of the city who have made their school and family proud with their performance have are looking forward to excel in their professional life too.
Schools by and large expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the results. “Our students have shown their mettle in the academic fields. We wish them all the best for their future,” said Father Pius Fernandes, principal Loyola School.
