Seraikela, Jan 16: In a heart-warming celebration of Makar Sankranti, Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahto visited the residences of prominent political leaders in Ranchi, where she extended her heartfelt wishes for the festival and presented gud-pitha as a token of goodwill. She met Rajya Sabha MP and JMM Central President Shibu Soren, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and MLA Kalpana Soren, all of whom were delighted by her gesture.
The meeting was a symbol of camaraderie and mutual respect among political leaders, as Savita Mahto engaged in meaningful conversations with the Chief Minister and Shibu Soren regarding the state’s political scenario and governance.
Savita Mahto said, “On this auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, I wanted to wish all our leaders and the people of Jharkhand prosperity and happiness. The Jaggery Pitha is a symbol of sweetness and unity, which we hope will continue to prevail in our state.”
The Chief Minister reciprocated with warm wishes, emphasizing the importance of unity in Jharkhand’s political landscape. “Makar Sankranti brings a new harvest, both in the fields and in our hearts,” said Hemant Soren. The event also saw the presence of several JMM central members, including Kabulu Mahato and Sameer Mahato, who joined the leaders in celebrating the festival.
