Jamshedpur: The Dishom Guru Memorial Library hosted an awareness lecture regarding recruitment for the Indian Air Force (IAF) under the Agniveer Vayu scheme. The program focused on informing youth about career opportunities within the Air Force and providing details on the application process.
Junior Warrant Officers Ajay Sharma and Mandeep from the 10 Airmen Selection Team briefed the attendees on eligibility criteria, selection procedures, and the physical and academic requirements for joining the IAF. The officers emphasized the necessity of discipline, fitness, and commitment for a career in the armed forces.
Approximately 100 students from various educational backgrounds participated in the session. During an interactive Q&A segment, the officers addressed queries regarding the recruitment stages, which students cited as helpful for clearing doubts and building confidence.
Participants described the program as a useful resource for understanding the Agniveer Vayu scheme and expressed interest in pursuing opportunities to serve in the Indian Air Force.
