Former CM greets people on New Year

Jamshedpur, Jan 1: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das greeted party executives, members, social organizations� representatives, corporate executives and general people at his Agrico residence who had congregated to exchange New Year greetings.

Raghubar Das had started his day by offering prayers at Shitla Mata Mandir in Bhalubasa and Surya Mandir in Sidgora before returning to his residence to greet all the people.

He asked party workers and executives about their wellbeing and to boost their morale he told them, �We should commence the new year with fresh resolve. There are ups and downs in social and political spheres of life. We should not be shaken by such circumstances but should come out stronger. We must maintain our equilibrium and with a sense of positivity move forward. Our organizational work and our social activities among the people will continue. We shall remain committed to development work.�

The former Chief Minister said that the BJP would emerge stronger in 2020. Party executives and members would draw the attention of the state government towards problems in their localities of activity. He said that the party would vociferously oppose the wrong decisions of the government. At the same time he wished the new government for the New Year and urged it to work for the fulfillment of the expectations of the 3.25 crore people of the state.

Raghubar Das� interaction with the people continued till well past noon. Some of them became emotional and said, �For us you are still our CM.� The former Chief Minister, to revive their spirit observed, �I was a CM yesterday and I am a CM today too � CM stands for Common Man,� and urged party workers to celebrate the New Year with their families and to enjoy the year�s first day with them.

The big rush of well wishers who greeted the former Chief Minister at his residence included BJP Mahanagar president Dinesh Kumar, Devendra Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Khemlal Chowdhary, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Haldhar Narayan Shah, Vikas Singh, Sanjiv Singh, Gunjan Yadav, Appa Rao, Rakesh Singh, Amarjit Singh Raja, Pappu Mishra, Dipak Jha, Ramesh Nag, Shriram Prasad, Dhruv Mishra, Santosh Thakur, Ashok Samant, Bunty Agrawal, Umesh Pandey, Prem Jha, Rishabh Singh, Dipak Pratap Singh, Narendra Singh, Bachchababu Sharma, Rambilas Sharma and many others.
