Ranchi: In a distressing plea for justice, Deepak Singh, a resident of the Chutiya police station area, has approached the Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) alleging severe physical abuse orchestrated by his wife and her brother. The victim, who sustained serious injuries, including bleeding from his eyes, has lodged a formal application with the Senior SP seeking intervention and redress.
According to Deepak Singh, the assault was purportedly carried out by his three-year-old son, who is the brother of his wife. The motive behind the attack, as stated in the application, was to seize his property. Despite presenting a medical report along with the application, Deepak Singh claims that the Chutiya police station did not take any action on his complaint. Instead, he alleges that he was scolded and dismissed when he sought assistance from the local authorities.
Expressing frustration with the lack of response from the local police, Deepak Singh has now turned to Ranchi SSP, urging for justice in his case. He emphasizes the need for the legal system to extend its support to victimized husbands, just as it has traditionally done for wives.
Accompanying his plea, Deepak Singh has submitted the original application filed at the police station, the medical report detailing his injuries, and photographic evidence of the harm suffered. The victim remains hopeful that the Senior SP’s intervention will bring about the justice he seeks in this distressing situation.
