Jamshedpur: International Yoga Day was celebrated with fervour at Sidhu Kanhu Memorial High School, Narwa Pahar, in Potka on Wednesday. A large number of children and others performed Yoga on the occasion.
The children performed Yoga under the guidance and supervision of trainer Navranjan Bhakta, Bhriguram Bhakta, Prashant Kumar Pal and the school principal Banwari Das.
Addressing the gathering, the school principal said Yoga played a vital role in maintaining a person�s overall health. He said it paved way to discipline and a healthy life.
Among others present on the occasion included Sushil Kumar Soren, Jayanti Tudu, Rajnikant Mahato, Duluram Sardar, Rajni Murmu, Joba Soren, Kapra Murmu, Asha Mahato and Subodh Kumar Munda.
