Jamshedpur, Mar 21: Acting on information from Jamshedpur police, police from Jamui district of Bihar have managed to nab an accused in human trafficking and sexual exploitation, Munna Shukla and has also managed to recover a missing girl from Parsudih.
According to police, the missing girl was working as a domestic servant at a house in Parsudih and on the complaint of the house owner’s wife in Parsudih a case was lodged against Munna Shukla, a resident of Gwala Patti under Parsudih thana.
Parsudih police are expected to return back to city from Jamui with the accused and the girl on Monday.
According to DSP law and order Faiz Akram, the accused has cases of sexual exploitation, human trafficking and abduction lodged against him and only after his interrogation the truth of the case can be verified.
According to sources, Munna Shukla had persuaded the girl to go with him in December to Jamui and tried to exploit her sexually. The girl informed this to the wife of the house where she worked in Parsudih. She also told that he was trying to sell her. Thereafter the owner’s wife lodged a complaint in Parsudih thana and gave the girl’s mobile number to the police. Based on the mobile’s location police traced her to Jamui and the police got in touch with Jamui police and both city police and Jamui police managed to nab Munna Shukla
