Jamshedpur, August 16: On August 15, 2024, Tatanagar Railway Station proudly displayed a massive 20 x 30 feet national flag to commemorate the 78th Independence Day. The flag was hoisted by Tatanagar ARM Abhishek Singhal, with the event organized through the joint efforts of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Dalma and the Tatanagar Railway Management. The ceremony began with the saluting of the national flag and the singing of the national anthem, followed by the distribution of sweets to attendees. Key figures present included Railway officials A.K. Rao, O.P. Sharma, and S.K. Singh, along with Rotary Dalma President Manish Kumar Chaudhary and other community members. The event highlighted the collaborative spirit and patriotic zeal of the local community in celebrating the nation’s independence.
