Huge job opportunities in govt and private sector: Raghubar

CM visits Venture Skill Development Centre and CMC Midcon

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that huge employment opportunities are being generated in private and public sector to eradicate poverty and unemployment from the state. He made the observation during his visit to Venture Skill Development Centre, Kanke, and CMC Midcon institution, Kathal More, on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said, �On the occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, 25,000 youths will be provided employment. Every year, 1 lakh youths will be given job. Government is constantly working to eradicate poverty and unemployment. Learning and earning has begun in this direction. Skill development centres are giving training to youth for getting employable. Youths are getting jobs and leading good life. Companies and institution are getting trained.�

Das further said that 32 village coordinators will be appointed through entrepreneur Sakhi Mandals to raise BPL families above poverty line. �BPL families will get employment through skill development and lead a good life. Government is counting the real number of BPL families in the state. Public is aware now. Better suggestions came in division level pre budget seminar. Budget will be made according to aspirations of public. Government is working to increase public participation. Implementation of schemes has fastened,� he said.

Das said the state government is determined to make Ranchi a well developed capital. �A lot of steps have been taken to improve traffic system. High quality CCTV cameras are being installed in state. A lot of initiatives have been taken to minimize road accidents. Vehicles running in the highway have been instructed to keep their headlight on during days as well. It will decrease road accidents. Now- a- days vehicles are available in market with such technology. There will be an ambulance on highway at every 50 km. Timely treatment can save lives.

Soon there will be a meeting with directors of private hospitals and instruction will be given to them about speedy treatment of accident victims,� he said.
Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma and Secretary of Higher Education and Skill Development Ajay Singh were present during the program.
