Housing Board Chairman inspects vacant land in Jamshedpur, demand letter submitted

Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Jharkhand State Housing Board Chairman Sanjay Lal Paswan conducted an inspection of vacant Housing Board properties in Govindpur on Monday. During his visit, District Council Member Dr. Paritosh Kumar welcomed him with a bouquet and a garment, after which Paswan also distributed blankets to the underprivileged. Local residents expressed concerns about the encroachment of vacant lands, prompting the Chairman to visit multiple locations and assess the situation first-hand.

Following the inspection, Dr. Paritosh Kumar submitted a five-point demand letter to the Housing Board Chairman. The demands included the construction of a market complex in Government Haat Bazaar, building a boundary wall around Veer Shivaji Park, constructing a marriage hall at the southern end of Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium, establishing a Housing Board office in Govindpur and reconstructing the sewerage system. After reviewing these requests, Paswan instructed the Executive Engineer to draft proposals prioritizing local requirements and submit them to the Board for further action. Several community leaders and prominent residents, including Parvinder Singh, Rajneesh Singh, Jyotish Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Harendra Mishra, Arvind Sahu, Naresh Gora, Shyam Kishore Singh, Ashok Singh and Satveer Singh Bagga, were present during the visit.
