80 shops receive evacuation notice in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, February 10: The East Singhbhum district administration has sent a notice to 80 shops built illegally near Star Talkies-Railway Bridge in Burmamines police station area and asked them to vacate.

The district administration, in the notice issued, called them encroachers and said that if they do not vacate the site soon, action will be taken against them.

After receiving the notice, there is panic among the shopkeepers. They are expressing anger and saying that they have been given a notice to be demolished without being resettled. The shopkeepers say that if their shops are demolished, everyone will protest. The strategy was decided in a meeting in the presence of BJP leader Rakesh Singh.

Everyone said in one voice that they will not let the shops be demolished under any circumstances. Rakesh Singh said that if the shops are demolished forcibly then the administration will have to face a fierce protest. He said that if the road is blocked then the administration will have to face a fierce protest.

If some space is needed in the demarcation, all the shopkeepers will move their shops back from the road, if the entire place has to be removed, then first all the shopkeepers should be settled at another place.
