Hotel Alcor case: Kolkata girl gets bail, manager denied

Jamshedpur : Kolkata-based woman accused of operating a sex trade at Hotel Alcor in Bistupur was granted bail on Tuesday by Principal District and Sessions Judge Manoj Prasad, while the bail plea of Dhananjay Singh, the hotel manager accused in the same case, was dismissed. Both applications were heard in the court on Monday. The decision was reserved for Tuesday.

It is worth mentioning that the bail application of the other accused hotel owners Rajiv Singh Dugal, railway contractor Rajesh Mangotia alias Laddu Mangotia, Rajat Jaggi, Deepak Aggarwal, Rahul Aggarwal, Sharad Poddar in the same case was dismissed on May 29 by Principal District and Sessions Judge Manoj Prasad.

On April 26, on the complaint of DSP Aurobind Kumar, an FIR was lodged in Bistupur police station for conducting prostitution business. The accused, including a Kolkata-based woman, have been in jail for the past one month.
