Hope House triumphs at KSMS Teachers’ Sports Carnival

Jamshedpur: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS), Golmuri, hosted a vibrant three-day Teachers’ Sports Carnival, featuring competitions in Carrom, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, and Cricket. Teachers participated in teams representing four houses—Charity House, Peace House, Joy House, and Hope House—displaying remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The grand finale of the cricket tournament was held on February 24 at 9:00 AM, where Hope House emerged as the champion. The highlight of the match was the stellar performance of K. Rama Sir, who remained unbeaten with 26 runs and delivered an exceptional bowling spell, securing three wickets in a maiden over. His all-round performance played a crucial role in Hope House’s victory.

The match witnessed the esteemed presence of School Chairman K.P.G. Nair, Principal Nandini Shukla, Vice Principals A.L. Abraham and Reena Banerjee, along with all the teachers. For his outstanding contribution, K. Ramakrishna Rao was awarded the Best Player Award.

Hope House’s captain, Rajan Singh, expressed immense joy and congratulated his team on the well-earned victory. The Teachers’ Sports Carnival is an annual event, fostering camaraderie and sporting spirit among educators.
