Home Health Care Services launched in Jamshedpur


Jamshedpur, Aug. 27: Dr. Umesh Prasad, renowned anesthesiologist, has started the Home Health Care Services in the steel city. The plan was to start it from Ranchi capital just after completion of Pain & Palliative care course from New Delhi but, since Jamshedpur is the home of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Dr Prasadís insisted this project to start from Jamshedpur itself.

The goal of the service is to attend the patients at their homes, who are needy, bed ridden & require various life support systems. This service is mainly to educate the patient family & relatives of the bed ridden patients regarding their condition / diseases so that the quality of patientís life can be improved. It will definitely help family to cope during patient illness & in their bereavement, said Dr. Umesh Prasad, consultant, Home Health Care services.

This service will provide a panoramic view to patients like Catheterization, Dressing, Physiotherapy, Feeding Tube, Colostomy care, Bed sore Care, Pain management and Nursing support for the patients.

Addressing a press conference at a city hotel on Monday, Dr. Prasad informed that these services will benefit in the following terms like: Freedom & Family Support, Comfort, Care, Cost Effective, Peace of Mind & Personal Care. Hence, patient will no more dependent on family members & will enhance the security & dignity.

This service will emerge as a boon for the patients, who are suffering from Cancer, Cardiac diseases, Neurological illness, COPD, Kidney failure, Alzheimerís diseases, Parkinson.

We use the state of art protocols and process for various treatments. For which we have a highly skilled and trained healthcare professionals who can help better and provide at the comfort of patientís home.

The various materials will also be provided by the visiting service personnel as or when required. Since, these fields are specialized and needs utmost care to prevent any shortcoming or injury there is a feedback system which the patients has to follow as or when required to continue quality care.

Dr. Prasad quoted that these all the services will be charged reasonably so that patients can afford it. This service will definitely set the benchmark in the patient care at Jamshedpur.
