Hira Akhara takes out Kalash Yatra

Jamshedpur: Shri-Shri Bajrang Akhara Samiti (Hira Akhara) today took out a procession in which 21 devotees carried kalash (water pots) with water collected from the Swarnrekha River and passed along a route comprising MGM Hospital, Shitla Mandir Road before finally reaching Shahid Chowk Hanuman Mandir. The kalashs were worshipped at the Hanuman Mandir. The colourful procession and display of fire crackers were the main attractions all along the route. Those present in the Kalash Yatra included licensee president Prahlad Sah, executive president Rakesh Sahu, organizer Sanjay Chowdhary, vice president Surendra Sharma, secretary Ajit Sharma, Rajkishore Prasad Gupta, treasurer Munil Sao, Dwarika Prasad, Mukesh Yadav, Rahul Kumar, Mukesh Singh, Sanjay Prasad, Karn Sharma, Pintu Kumar, Ajay Sao, Suraj Kumar, Rajkumar Sao and Vijay Poddar.

Hira Akhara procession today: The Shri-Shri Bajrang Akhara Samiti (Hira Akhara) will take out a procession from the Hanuman Mandir at Shahid Chowk on Saturday, April 13 evening on the occasion of Maha Nawami. The procession will pass along # 9 Stand, Kasidih Line Number 1, Kasidih Durga Puja Maidan, Rajiv Gandhi Chowk, Sakchi Roundabout before returning to the Mandir.  The procession will commence after the honouring ceremony of guests with traditional turbans at 7 pm.
