Ranchi : The differences between Hindustan Copper Ltd. and UCIL regarding overlapping of mining lease of Rakha Mines have been resolved.
A meeting presided over by Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma took place between the officers of both the companies at Project Building in which the overlapping of 67 hectare acres has been resolved.
The CS said that due to production conflict between the two companies, the lease was getting affected. Agreement between the two will make the lease worth approval and speed up mining. She said that they can take the help of SISF for security purposes.
MP Vidyut Varan Mahto, Industry Secretary Sunil Kr. Barnwal, Mines Commissioner Abu Bakar Siddiqui , Hindustan Copper Ltd. CMD C.K. Asnani and UCIL CMD K. D. Diwan were present in the meeting.
